Finally experimented with a chocolate icing that is the perfect accompaniment to my Chocolate Cake recipe. It is super creamy and delicious and you can’t even tell that it is healthy. Made with 4 basic ingredients it is refined sugar free, gluten free and can be dairy free depending on the milk you use.
This is the perfect healthy cake to make for birthdays, special occasions, or just a spot of weekend baking. The icing is so versatile and can be used for cupcakes, brownies or any cake recipe you have.
- 1 cup soaked Cashews
- 1 tsp Raw Cacao Powder
- 1 tsp Date Nectar
- Splash of Milk
(Soak the cashews in water for at least 4 hours)
- Combine all the ingredients in a high power blender and blend until smooth.
- Spread on the top of the cake.
- Optional addition is a few fresh raspberries on the top for extra decoration.
- That’s it…all done!
