Porridge solves a whole host of problems in my eyes! Hungry? Porridge. Post Workout? Porridge. Tired? Porridge. Cold? Porridge. It really is the breakfast of winners especially when it is pimped to the max…adding your favourite flavours really takes it to the next level.
Ingredients: Serves 1
- 1 Cup Oats
- 1 1/2 Cups of Liquid e.g Milk/Water
- 1 scoop SFN Vanilla Protein Powder
- 1 tsp Maca Powder
- 1/2 Banana
- Toppings of your choice e.g. Peanut Butter, Fruit, Chia Seeds, Coconut
- Start by mixing together the oats and the liquid and cook on the stove in a pan for about 5 mins on a medium to low heat.
- Mash the banana and add it to the cooking porridge – make sure to stir it well.
- Once the porridge is nearly cooked and at your desired thickness – add in the protein powder and maca powder.
- Stir together and serve up adding your favourite toppings.
