The quicker, more organised, summery sister to porridge. As soon as the weather starts to get warmer I make the transition from porridge in the morning to overnight oats. Especially handy because you can make them the night before and just grab them on the way to work/uni in the morning. They are so easy to make and you can customise them with any toppings of your choice…but vanilla and maca is my current favourite!
Ingredients: Serves 1
- 50g Oats
- 1 1/2 cups of Milk
- 2 tbsp Chia Seeds
- 1 Scoop Vanilla Protein (I use SFN Vanilla Whey)
- 1 tsp Maca
Optional Toppings: Banana, Berries, Peanut Butter, Desiccated Coconut
- Mix together all the ingredients in a jar or bowl, not including the toppings.
- Cover and store in the fridge for at least 4 hours, preferably over night.
- When you are ready to eat, top with all your favourite toppings and enjoy!
